Ceramic painting is all about having fun! We stock a wide range of ‘bisqueware’ (unpainted pottery), together with brushes and under-glaze paint for you to decorate and personalise your very own masterpiece.
We then glaze and fire your item in our in-house kiln, ready for you to collect in 5-7 days.

The Studio is also super popular spot for Corporate Groups, Adult Birthday Parties, Hen Parties and of course our popular Adult Painting Workshops. On our Adult Workshop evenings, you can BYO wine and food. No corkage fee applies.
You pay for what you paint – so you choose the piece of pottery that you would like to paint and you pay that price eg: egg cups (£8), mugs (from £15), plates (from £15), Tiny Tots figures (from £10), ornaments of unicorns, cats, dogs, dinosaurs (from €14), money boxes (from €20) – you pay for what you paint.
Additional Studio fees do not apply.
On average about one and a half hours but it can take longer. Younger children tend to take less time than older painters.
All our paints are non-toxic, our pottery paints are water based and are all washable and we use non-toxic glaze.
Our Canvas paints although water based do not always wash out of fabric. We advise to dress accordingly for all painting activities! We also provide aprons.
No. Due to our bisque being earthenware we do not recommend using your item in a dishwasher or microwave.

Deposits & Payments Painting parties or group bookings: if you book a party package or for a group of 5+ we will ask for a deposit of £5pp to secure your booking. All balances to be paid on the day of the event. If you need to cancel or change the date of your booking, we request 48 hrs notice. If you do not provide 48hrs notice, we will not be able to offer to reschedule or refund your session. If you simply need to amend the numbers attending, providing you give 24hrs notice we will refund you for anyone who can no longer attend.
Gift Vouchers Are valid for 12 months, if there are exceptional circumstances which mean you will not be able to use it, please get in touch before your voucher has expired and we may be able to make an exception.
Please keep a tight hold of the voucher as you’ll need to bring it with you. If you think there is chance you might lose it, take a picture of it on your phone just in case. If you gift someone a voucher, we advise asking them if they’ve used it after a couple of months, so they get to make the most of the wonderful gift you’ve given them.
Gift vouchers cannot be exchanged for money or refunded more than 24hrs after purchase.
Replacement Vouchers If your painted pottery cracks in the firing process, we will offer you a replacement voucher equal to the value of the piece of pottery that was cracked. This voucher can only be used for pottery painting and cannot be used towards a group session.
Competitions We run regular competitions on our social media + mailing list - make sure you’ve liked/followed/signed up to be in with a chance of winning. Prizes are usually vouchers for an experience with us and are valid for 6 months. Vouchers can only be used for their specific purchase.
Data Protection At the end of a painting session, we will ask for your phone number and email address. This is simply just so we have a way of contacting you to let you know your pottery is ready for collection. Any paper copies are shredded once we are done with them.
Shop All items bought from our Colours online shop will be posted out no later than 4 days after purchase. Items are non-returnable. This does not affect your statutory rights.
Paintings Artworks used in events are creations of the Colours artists and are for instruction purposes only.
Photos Our team will be taking photos throughout the classes for use on our social media, website and other promotional purposes. If you do not wish to be in any of the photos just let one of our team know on the day and we will make sure to leave you out of them!
